    beginning as a small farm in 2014, marita and clare originally focused on supplying gourmet mushrooms to local restaurants and markets, growing medicinal mushrooms, and creating a range of cultures for australian growers. 

    they now use their passion, experience, and knowledge to create educational zines and run workshops to help people learn all about the incredible world of mushrooms.

  • an incredible fibre artist, JULES BROOKER began her creative journey early, often found making ephemeral patterns – between handstands - at the beach. She now uses traditional basketry techniques + sustainably sourced natural fibres to explore contemporary fibre art.

    jules completed an undergraduate degree at sydney college of the arts and is a member of the eurobodalla fibre and textile group. she is continually experimenting with new forms, finding flow in the making rather than the completion of each piece.

    they committed themselves to the project, taking six years to plan and save for the restoration work. since then, MOUNT AIRLIE HOUSE has been painstakingly restored to its former glory and is a testament to kate and scott’s vision and commitment.
